Particify in your LMS

Integrate Particify into your learning management system over LTI 1.3. Teachers and students use Particify directly in the course.

One click

No second login, no room code: teachers and participants open Particify directly in the course.

Your rooms

Existing rooms are linked to the course. Quizzes, surveys and Q&A stay available all term long.

Anonymous

No results flow back into your LMS gradebook. Teachers cannot see who answered or who posted.

How the setup works

1

Register Particify in your LMS

Your system administration registers Particify as an LTI 1.3 tool. Moodle and ILIAS support automatic configuration (dynamic registration); in Stud.IP the values are entered by hand. We provide the URLs you need for this.

2

Complete the connection

Your LMS creates a client ID during registration. You send it to us, we store it in your instance and enable the connection. Once we have confirmed the activation, Particify is ready in your courses.

3

Use it in the course

Teachers then add Particify to their own courses as an activity and link one of their rooms to the course. If there is no suitable room yet, they can create one first. No further approvals are needed.

Frequently asked questions

Who sets up the integration?
Your system administration registers Particify as an LTI 1.3 tool once, and we complete the connection on our side. After that, teachers can get started without further support.
Does the integration work with our system?
We have tested Moodle, ILIAS and Stud.IP. In principle, any system that supports LTI 1.3 can be used.
Do teachers need to register with Particify?
No. The account is created automatically the first time they open Particify from the LMS – with no separate password and no separate sign-in.
Which data does Particify receive from the LMS?
A technical user identifier, the email address, and first and last name – nothing else. Course content and participant lists are not retrieved, and the role someone holds in the LMS is not carried over.
Do contributions and answers stay anonymous?
Yes, and the LMS integration changes nothing about that. No results flow back into your LMS gradebook either – Particify is built for anonymous interaction, not for grading.
We already use Particify with single sign-on. Does that work together?
Yes. Access through the LMS is matched to the same Particify account by email address, so teachers work with the same rooms no matter how they signed in.
Can teachers still use Particify without the LMS?
Yes. Particify drives interaction outside an LMS just as well. Rooms can still be created as usual and shared by room code or QR code.
