Setting up Particify in Stud.IP
Particify’s Stud.IP integration is based on the LTI 1.3 standard, is set up once, and then makes Particify available in every course.
General
In Stud.IP, Particify is registered by hand as an LTI tool; we provide the URLs you need for it. Your system administration does this once, and we complete the connection together with you. We have tested with Stud.IP 6.1.1.
Stud.IP is used almost exclusively at German-speaking institutions, so field and menu names are quoted below exactly as they appear on screen, in German.
1. Setup
1. Register the tool
Open Admin > System > LTI-Tools, choose Neues LTI-Tool registrieren and enter the following values:
LTI-Version: 1.3a
LTI-Launch-URL: the launch URL of your instance
OIDC-Login-URL: the login initiation URL of your instance
Deep-linking URL: the login initiation URL of your instance
JWKS-URL: the JWKS URL of your instance
Personendaten an das LTI-Tool senden: Ja
Without the personal data, starting Particify from a course fails, and without the deep linking URL Stud.IP offers no room selection.

2. Complete the connection
Copy the Deployment-ID that Stud.IP generated from the list of configured LTI tools and send it to us. We store it in your instance and enable the connection. Once we have confirmed this, Particify is available in your courses.

2. Using it in a course
Enable the tool
In their course, teachers enable the LTI-Tools tool under Verwaltung. A tab of the same name then appears.
Link a room
Via Tool mittels LTI Deep Linking hinzufügen they select Particify and then choose which of their rooms to link. If there is no suitable room yet, they can create one in Particify first.

Starting from the course
